Showtimes July 10 - 16:

Joe (Seth Rogen) and Angela’s (Olivia Wilde) marriage is on thin ice. An adjunct professor who’s disappointed with his career, Joe uses weed to cope with both his lack of success in the music world and his debilitating back pain. At first glance, Angela seems more put together, running around the city in a boho-chic outfit as she puts details in place for a dinner party. But as we get to know her, and her sad, non-starter relationship with her husband, we begin to understand how much of her life is performative and how hungry she is to be seen.

When Joe and Angela invite their older, less inhibited upstairs neighbors (Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton) for a dinner party, there’s comedy in the differences between the two couples: one ludicrously sexy and at ease, the other openly seething and hanging onto marriage by their fingernails. As the night spirals into unexpected places, will it be the spark that reignites their old flame – or the fire that burns it all down? “A truly adult comedy with plenty to say and even more laughs to share… accept this invite, and fast.” – Kate Erbland, IndieWire
