A remarkable, life-affirming documentary from Academy Award-winning directors Rachel Grady and Heidi Ewing (Jesus Camp, 12th and Delaware), Folktales follows four teenagers attending Pasvik Folk High School in Norway — a school 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle that connects young people to Scandinavian history and folklore, as well as to the miraculous and unrelenting natural world surrounding them.
