Perfect for cat-lovers of all ages, the 5th Annual New York Cat Film Festival is a celebration of our feline friends, featuring 9 animated, documentary, and narrative films. A portion of the ticket sales from this special screening will benefit The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, who will also be on hand with information on adoptions, volunteering, and other ways to support their work.

This year's festival had the most international submissions of any year yet, with films from Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Iran, Italy, Kuwait, Malta, Poland, Spain, Taiwan, the UK. Unlike random internet "cat videos," the films featured here were each made with an intention, concept, or story to convey something essential about cats. Collectively, they celebrate the kitties who share our world and their relationships with people, no matter where or how they live — as feral cats in a colony or house cats between the covers in someone’s bed.
