Showtimes September 27 - October 3:

Portrayed with intensity by Kate Winslet, renowned photographer Lee Miller comes off as a true iconoclast. She’s a woman unconcerned with upholding the status quo who prefers to live life at full throttle in pursuit of truth. And it’s this unbridled tenacity that made her the singular talent she was — a photographer who produced some of the 20th century’s most indelible images of war, including an iconic photo of Miller herself posing defiantly in Hitler’s private bathtub. With her profound understanding and empathy for victims of injustice, Miller’s images seem to contain both the fragility and ferocity of human experience, and Kuras’s film helps bring them to life. Rounded out by performances from Alexander Skarsgård, Josh O’Connor, Marion Cotillard, and Noémie Merlant as Lee’s inspirational friends and collaborators, Lee is a portrait worthy of the photographer’s influence.
