How to Blow Up a Pipeline

Adapted from Andreas Malm’s controversial manifesto of the same name, this fictionalized thriller follows a group of environmental activists as they attempt to sabotage a West Texas oil pipeline. Part high-stakes heist, part radical exploration of the climate crisis, their story provocatively dramatizes what direct action could look like.

A group of individuals who came together from different points of approach, the crew is less united by allegiance to a single ideology than by the notion of a shared enemy. Collectively, they believe that only acts of destruction can truly derail the corporate machine that’s fueling climate change, and the story follows them as they work together to disrupt that machine in the most effective way possible. Incendiary and furious, confident and courageous, this is an urgent call to action that’s charged with tension until its nerve-wracking conclusion.
