Two Shows, December 22 - 23:

Ben Russell (Chandler Riggs) is a 24-year-old who’s bringing his girlfriend Cassie (Samantha Isler) to meet his family in Oregon for the first time. Their arrival is a bit bumpy, which unearths some internal conflict that Cassie is having in her relationship with Ben. After a late-night conversation between the couple turns into a breakup, Cassie is determined to go to her own home for Christmas after all. But due to the winter weather and remote rural location, she is stuck with her newly minted ex’s family for the rest of the holiday. Equally funny, dramatic, and bittersweet, the film manages to play in a broadly entertaining way while subverting traditional holiday tropes, offering a refreshing and authentic look at relationships and family dynamics.
