Showtimes March 21 - 27:

Heading up an impeccable cast, Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett play George Woodhouse and Kathryn St. Jean, the Mr. and Mrs. Smith of the British intelligence community. The pair is so deeply committed to their work and in love with each other that when a mole is discovered within their agency, they find it inconceivable that it could be their spouse. But when George begins to suspect Kathryn, he must decide what to do.

The brilliance of Black Bag isn’t just the way it puts the stakes between this particular couple on a greater level, where tens of thousands of lives hinge on what they choose to hide from one another, but how an effective spy movie can simultaneously say so much about human relationships. With its elegant, unsettling edge, it keeps us guessing and thinking at the same time – about loyalty and risk, clarity and obfuscation. A little bit John le Carré, a little bit James Bond, this is a very entertaining thriller with some wickedly rewarding results.
